Hotel Lord Byron Restaurant Rome, Italy

lord byron restaurantHere we enjoyed homemade croissants and bread, gourmet preserves, natural cereals, several flavors of yogurt, a number of tasty fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, and bacon.  Also available were freshly squeezed Sicilian orange, grapefruit and tangerine juices along with Italian coffees such as creamy cappuccino and espresso.  The Sapori is a first-class dining establishment, offering stylish décor where art lovers may dine in an elegant setting that feels as if one might be dining in the Galleria Borghese just down the street.  Similarly, the Il Salotto Lounge provides a warm yet refined atmosphere for leisurely relaxation or stimulating conversation.  We enjoyed one of our finest meals in Italy at the Sapori, a dining experience you should not miss whenever you are in the area.  Be sure to read our review in this section.

One of the goals of our visit to Rome was to see the luxurious and incomparable Villa Borghese, a museum featuring the exquisite sculptures of Bernini along with masterpieces from Titian, Raphael, Cranach, Rubens, Caravaggio and others.  Though we had secured our reservations online beforehand, the always helpful concierge at the Hotel Lord Byron will surely help you make the necessary arrangements as they offered to do for us .  In any event, be sure to book your reservation for the Villa Borghese in advance.  Since the weather was beautiful on the day we planned to visit this world-famous museum, we opted to take a 20-minute walk from the hotel through the lovely park.  From this, we realized our location at the Hotel Lord Byron provided the best of both worlds: proximity to the bustling Eternal City’s main attractions and the opportunity to relax in a tranquil, exclusive environment.

For so many reasons—ideal location, private elegance, superb service, artistic ambiance, state-of-the-art amenities, and a world-reputed gourmet restaurant famous for its haute cuisine and delicious Italian specialties—the Hotel Lord Byron is sure to provide you with a timeless experience in the elegant atmosphere of a unique patrician villa.
